Wildlife activists are calling for a cull of feral cats in Australia’s island state, Tasmania, where they are breeding out of control – outnumbering humans two to one and threatening livestock and native species.
Cats eat small mammals, lizards and insects – traditionally the prey of animals native to Australia.
