Lynn Tolocka identified as woman who died at Boonstock Festival

The young woman who died of a suspected drug overdose at theBoonstockMusic Festival inPenticton, B.C. has been identified as LynnTolockaofLeduc, Alta.

There is an outpouring of grief from family and friends onTolockas personal Facebook page.

God has you now, one friend wrote. I love you my friend. I miss you more than you would have known.

Another posted on Sunday, Today would have been your birthday. Still in shock from the news I received yesterday. Miss you tons.

Tolockas last Facebook message was posted just two days before her death.

Cant wait till Im there at Boonstock, the young woman wrote.

In Leduc, the Tolocka family is quietly preparing for the young womans funeral. The priest at the St. Michaels Catholic Church says he has met with the family several times over the past few days.

In a statement posted online, festival organizers said the 24-year-old became distressed" while dancing at one of the stages around 1 a.m. PT Saturday.

Tolocka was taken to Penticton Regional Hospital where she died. Her funeral is scheduled for Monday in Leduc.

Both the RCMP and the BC Coroners office are still investigating Tolockas death.

Grace Kucey, spokeswoman for Interior Health, said paramedics transferred 90 people to the Penticton Regional Hospital from the festival grounds, mostly due to drug and alcohol consumption.
