After the pair stepped on the red carpet Sunday night in Los Angeles, Rose's name started trending on Twitter in Canada.

Many seemed in support of the statement the duowas making.

The two people accompanying them, who can be seen in some of the duo's red carpet photos, wore similar outfits.

Rose is a self-described "feminist & advocate for women empowerment," according to her Twitter profile.

She has planned an Amber Rose slut walk, which will take place in Los Angeles on Oct. 3.
