Montreal firefighters get into the spirit of giving

Montreal firefighters got into the spirit of the holidays.

Over the last few weeks, they've been putting together Christmas baskets for those in need.

On Wednesday, they loaded the baskets onto trucks handed them out to 800 needy families across the island.

The baskets were filled with food, toys and gift certificates.

Firefighters have been doing this every Christmas season for 28 years.
