A pair ofMontreal web developers havecreated an online quiz for anyone who wants to test their knowledge of the city's metro system.

The site features a simple layout, with a blank map of Montreal's metro.Players are timedas they attempt to type all 68 of the station names in no particular order.

So far, 36 people have completed the quizand 257 people have given up. A total of 17 were able to complete the quiz in under five minutes.

I've always been fascinated by our unique culture, and our history. I figured it would be an interesting challenge for other Montrealers.- Christopher Waldau, web designer

Web designers Christopher Waldau and Long Nguyen got the idea fromanotheronline quiz, which challenged users to name as many countries in the world as they could in fifteen minutes.

"I thought it was a pretty cool idea, and I was curious as to how many people knew their Montreal metro system that well," Waldau said in an interview.

Christopher Waldau made the website with fellow web developer Long Nguyen.
"I love Montreal. I've always been fascinated by our unique culture, and our history. I figured it would be an interesting challenge for other Montrealers."

Although the majority of people were unable to complete the quiz, Waldau was impressed by some of the results.

"I think there are some [completed quizzes] up there right now that are hovering around three minutes," Waldau said.

"That, to me, is quite impressive, mostly because it takes me that length of time just to type in all the metro stations, forget about trying to remember them and know them."

One quiz had an even better score it took this unnamed user one second to name every metro station in Montreal. But Waldau says that's because some hacked his website.

"It was another programmer who shared with me his method, and I am in the process of trying to avoid things like that," Waldau said.
