M5, Outer Cove take top spots in Regatta time trials

Rowers took to the pond for time trials on Saturday to help determine where their boats would start in this year's Royal St. John's Regatta.

In thesenior women's category, M5 posted the fastest time:5:14:97.

In the senior men's grouping, the Outer Cove crew were the fastest teampast the buoys in a time of 9:15:03.

The time trials determine the order of the Shell Draw this Wednesday, where teams pick which shell they will use for the Regatta next month.
