Every year in early March, we marvelat all-things-woman to markInternational Women's Day.

And what better place to celebrate the importance ofwomen than in Montreal, a citythatwas named Ville-Marie at its founding afterthe Virgin Mary herself, protector of the Socit Notre-Dame de Montral, the religious organization that settled here.

So for this month's quiz in honour of Montreal's 375th anniversary, we're paying homage to women who have shaped our city, either by leaving a permanent markor just by passing through.
