Oh, that dreadful (and dreaded) phrase. "A woman of a certain age." I hear it and my eyes automatically roll. I'm betting Wendy Froberg's do too.

In this solo performance, Froberg plays six roles all women over the age of fifty including an esthetician who loses her job due to age discrimination, and a newly minted shoplifter who combats her stress by nicking items from The Bay.

The characters deal witha full gamut of emotionally-fraught issues, including elder care, cosmetic surgery, empty nest syndrome and divorce. There are both laughs and tears to be had here as we watch these women discover the perils of online dating, the versatility of sex toys, and thepain of letting go when adult children move out.

I did at times have difficulty differentiating the characters fromone another. Froberg's physicality doesn'tchangesignificantly between each persona, so I found myself waiting distractedly for verbal cues as to who was speaking.
