Ever since it premiered at the Festival de Cannesin May, Sean Baker'sAnora has been the talk of the film world. It earned the festival's top award, thePalme d'or, anda rapturous reception at TIFF last month.

With the film receiving a wide release this week, critics Kristy Puchko and Peter Knegtjoin host Elamin Abdelmahmoud to explain why this gritty comedy about a New York stripper and her wealthy Russian suitor has generated such an intense degree of early Oscar buzz.
