Bison have been at the centre of Adrian Stimson's art practice for decades. The creature informs his paintings, photography, sculptures, installations and even his performative alter-ego, Buffalo Boy.

The Blackfoot artist joined Tom Power to reflect on how hisancestors' deep connection to bison fuels his art, and howhe manages to tackleheavy subjects like colonialism with humour and levity.
