Meet Lisa Lipton, a drummer and artist with a multidisciplinary practice. She's finishing her first feature film,The Impossible Blue Rose, and it fictionalizes episodes from her own life, with other actors playing her role. One of the moments it tackles is a pretty low chapter a quarter-life crisis, even when she questioned whether she could continue as an artist.

Now, that period is in the past, and Lisa opened up to CBC Arts about the film, how she's doing, and what the Sobey nomination did for her.
