Michael Crummey is a poet and novelist from Newfoundland and Labrador. Two of Crummey's novels have been shortlisted for the Governor General's Literary Award for fiction Sweetlandin 2014 andGalorein 2009. His latestis the poetry collectionLittle Dogs, which features a selection of new and previously published poetry. Crummey was the inaugural recipient of the Writers' Trust Fellowship, a $50,000 award given to a Canadian writer that demonstrates "exceptional creative ability and outstanding promise in their publications to date."
