Sheree Fitch is a Nova Scotia-based poet and novelist. She also works as an advocate forliteracy education. She runs a seasonal book store called Mabel Murple's Book Shoppe & Dreameryin River John, N.S.

Fitch is the author of several children's books, including MabelMurple, and young adult novels, like The Gravesavers. She received the Vicky Metcalf Award for Literature for Young People in 2000. While Fitchis known for her work in children's literature, she has also authored poetry books, including the 1993 collection In This House AreMany Women,and novels for adults, includingKiss the Joy as it Flies, which was shortlisted for the Stephen LeacockMemorial Medal for Humour in 2009.

Her most recent children's book isEverybody's Different on Everybody Street,a book about mental health and showing compassion to others.
