Uzma Jalaluddin is an Ontario-based writer and author.
UzmaJalaluddinis a teacher, parenting columnist and author based in Ontario. Her debut novel,Ayesha At Last,is the tale of a young Muslim woman who aspires to be a poet and must balance what her family expects of her with what she wants for herself.
In 2018, it was announced the film rights to Uzma Jalaluddin'syoung adult novelAyesha at Lasthave been sold to production company Pascal Pictures.
