pras-52.jpgSometime over the last three days, the Toronto police force set up shop in a space at the northwest corner of the CBC building, just to the right of the phalanx of port-a-potties pictured above.

It's just another reminder of the ramped-up security presence ahead of the G20 summit, which gets underway Saturday.

When I peered into the formerly vacant space on Monday morning, I found a bunch of uniformed officers milling about in front of a sign that read "rest relief area."

I approached a woman standing outside the building wearing a Toronto Police Service T-shirt (I can't confirm she is an officer) and asked her what was going on in the formerly vacant space.

She brusquely retorted: "None of your business," before adding, "That came off rude."

She explained it was a Toronto police facility, and that officers have been instructed not to discuss it.
