The sky's the limit.

That's Melissa Hockridge's fundraising goal for the event she's helping to organize in support of the family of Tim Bosma.

The Ancaster man, who was murdered after going out on a test drive near his home, is survived by his wife Sharlene and their two-year-old daughter.

"It's going to be a difficult road for them and anything we can do to help is great," Hockridge said of the motivation for the fundraiser, taking place on Friday at the Copetown Community Centre.

The event will feature live entertainment, food, door prizes and a raffle for scores of tickets to concerts and sporting events.

Among the big-ticket items is aToronto Maple Leafs package, which includes box seats at a pre-season game and a meet-and-greet with retired fan favourite Wendel Clark. Also up for grabs are a $3,000 custom-made ring and a Creemore cottage getaway.

Hockridge, who went to high school with Bosma, said the group that's putting the event together is made up of people who "knew Tim or grew up with him" as well as strangers who were "deeply moved" by the tragedy.

"It's amazing," she said, "that in the face of something that has been so evil, that tremendous good has come out it."
