A 25 year old man is at Royal Inland hospital with life threatening injuries after being stabbed early this morning. Kamloops RCMP say the man was dropped off at hospital just after 1 am with stab wounds to his chest. 4 people of interest are being interviewed.
Police are also looking over the crime scene which is a home in Sahali.

Kamloops RCMP arrested a man  yesterday after he threw a glass at them and then tried to fight. Police had been called to the Lighthouse Facility on the East Trans Canada highway after there was a report of man with a knife who had broken a window. Mounties found the man leaving the building carrying a number of bottles and glasses.
That is when he allegedly attacked the police.

A grass fire at Peterson Creek Park kept Kamloops Fire and Rescue busy yesterday and into this morning. The blaze started around 3:30 in the afternoon and grew to 3.8 hectares. Crews have been maintaining a fire guard around it. The cause of the blaze has yet to be determined.
