A Man Called Muck
His Christian name is Mervyl, but he's been "Muck" for decades...Muck Taylor. The Killigrews man who, over the years, has come up with many a way to make a dollar.

He's sold all kinds of things from his garden gate...everything from salt to sand, from apples to lobster.  And he's done amazing things with concrete. Everything from making patio block to lawn ornaments.

But the thing Muck is perhaps most known for is pig roasting.  Pig on a spit.  Barbecueing whole pigs began as a fundraising idea...a novel, tasty way to raise a few dollars for a good cause.  But as Muck and his big barbecue travelled about, the demand for his pig roasts grew.  And before long, he was in the pig roasting business.

This past year, Muck sold his big barbecue. To Bruce Day, the man who's picked up the pig roasting torch.  The Upper Gullies caterer who hopes to make spit roasting his business' main attraction... under the watchful eye of a man called Muck.
