PEI Vets

In the 1950's, there were very few veterinarians on Prince Edward Island. One of the first was Dr. Bud Ings - some describe him as the Island's James Herriot. Four decades later he sold his practice to Dr. Pius Murnaghan.

Despite the forty years which separate them, these two guys are best friends. Besides sharing a love of animals, they love to tell a good story. And it's through them that the changes in veterinary medicine and the changes to farming on the Island can be documented.
