Land and Sea Remembered Part Two

When Dave Quinton witnessed the birth of Land and Sea back in '64, you couldn't drive across Newfoundland island. The Trans Canada highway wasn't complete.

Cod was still salted. Islands were still settled. The accordion was still king.

Over the course of his 26 years with the show, Dave Quinton documented history in the making. The decline of the cod fishery, the founding of the Fishermen Food and Allied Workers Union, the introduction of Alberta buffalo to this province...all kinds of things that made for meaningful, colorful programs...and lasting memories.

More of the memories Dave shares, in part two of Land and Sea Remembered.
