The Finest of Firs

Even before Everett and Marilyn Kinden were married, the Lewisporte couple were selling Christmas trees.  Nothing special...just wild trees they'd go in the woods and cut themselves. It was a way of making a few extra dollars for Christmas.

From there, Everett and Marilyn started bringing in farmed trees from Nova Scotia.  And from that, sprung the idea of starting a Christmas tree farm of their own.

So, 17 years ago, Everett and Marilyn leased land, cleared it of everything but fir trees, and began the process of growing Christmas trees.  Fertilizing, pruning, nurturing...all in hopes of growing the perfect Christmas tree.  The finest of firs.
