Samson's Island.  An abandoned island in Notre Dame Bay.  Cal Potter's island of peace.

It's the place Cal Potter was born.  The place he was taken away from when he was just a boy. The place he never forgot, and eventually, came back to.  In very fine style.

Cal built a big home on Samson's Island, on the place where his family home used to stand.  He restored the graveyard. He built wharves and sheds and brought in machinery.

Cal Potter built his own little world on Samson's Island...the world of his childhood.  A world he travelled far from, but in some ways, never really left at all.
