Welcoming the World

More than 400 years ago Basques whalers made a living in Red Bay, Labrador.  The evidence of their work there draws curious visitors from all over the globe.  And now, Red Bay has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 

For some, that badge of honour reinforces a pride of place.  For others, it brings hope for a bright future.  We'll talk to the oldest and the youngest people in the community about what Red Bay's new fame really means to them.
