Keep hydrated with these simple fruit-infused waters

Add some flavour to your daily hydration. Here are some simple and healthy hydrators.

Having trouble remembering to drink enough water? We recommend using a glass water bottle with an infuser to motivate yourself. Not only is is good for the environment, but as it sits on your desk, it will be a constant reminder of how much water you have drank. Opt for a bottle with an infuser so that you can benefit from delicious flavours while you hydrate. Here are some recipes for beautiful fruit-infused water.

Strawberry Watermelon Jalepeno-Infused Water

The sweetness of the watermelon and strawberry will balance out the spiciness of the jalepeno. This water cocktail will not only hydrate you, it will give you a bit of an energy boost! Jalepeno has a great compound called capsaicin which is known to provide an energy boost.

What you'll need:

  • Strawberries cut into slices
  • Chunks of watermelon
  • Sliced jalepeno pepper
  • Cold, filtered water

Directions: To make this healthy hydrator, simply combine these ingredients in the infuser in your water bottle. Then add in cold, filtered water and some ice if you'd like. Add as many slices of jalepeno as you'd like, depending on your desired heat.

Cucumber Lemon Ginger Mint Water

This water does more than hydrate. Ginger is a great anti-inflammatory and if you're feeling a little bloated, the cucumber and lemon will work wonders. The mint will also freshen your breath. It's a win-win!

What you'll need:

  • Cucumber slices
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Lemon wedges
  • Fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
  • Cold, filtered water

Directions: To make this infused water, simply add the ingredients to the infuser of your water bottle and top up the bottle with some cold, filtered water. Ginger can be a strong flavour, so we recommend only adding a couple of chunks, depending on your desired taste.
