C David Johnson

Born and raised in Montreal, actor C David Johnson became a household name when he landed the leading role of Chuck Tchobanian on the television series, Street Legal. The show went on to become one of the most successful TV series in Canadian history. The series ran for eight years, and Johnson received four consecutive Gemini Nominations for Best Performance by an Actor in a Continuing Leading Drama. Additional on-screen credits include The Blacklist, Saving Hope, and more. He has worked in theatres across Canada and the United States, often with Soul Pepper Theatre Company in Toronto (Dora Award nomination for The Plays The Thing), additionally in Canada: The Stratford Festival, The National Arts Centre, and more. In the United States, Johnson was a principal in the Broadway premiere of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, and additionally has appeared with Palm Beach Dramaworks, Shakespeare Theatre Company of Washington, DC, and more. Most recently, C David was in the Broadway company of The Present (with Cate Blanchett and Richard Roxborough), and The Children on Broadway. C David lives in Connecticut but often returns home to Canada for work, family and fishing.
