Shelley's love affair with Kamloops began in 1995 when she discovered a network of running trails and bike paths, sparkling lakes, and ski terrain at her doorstep.

For the past six years, Shelley has been working from Kamloops for the morning team at CBC's Daybreak Kelowna. She has been a regular contributor of story ideas, scripts and radio documentaries and many of her stories have gone on to enlighten a national audience on programs like The Current and The Story from Here. Her passion for the community and its people makes her a perfect fit for the region's long awaited CBC bureau.

Mornings are Shelley's favorite time of the day. She can be spotted enjoying life in Kamloops- on her bike or in a kayak-always at the crack of dawn. She lives on a small acreage with her husband, two daughters, and a menagerie of pets.
