THIS CASE HAS BEEN SOLVED: Convicted sex offender Jerry Constant was sentenced to life in prison in June 2016 for murdering Karina Wolfe. He pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and offering an indignity to human remains. 

Karina Wolfe vanished from the city's west side on the evening of July 2, 2010.

At a vigil held for Karina, her brother, Desmond Wolfe, spoke on behalf of their mother Carol, who is deaf.

"She is just hoping that if someone sees, they will know what we are doing, and it will be like an insight that they'll know that we are looking," he said. "She is very important, she needs to come home."

At the time Wolfe went missing, her mother told CBC News her daughter, then 20  years old, had struggled with an addiction to crystal methamphetamine, a highly-addictive street drug.

Five years after Wolfe went missing, on Nov. 14, 2015, her body was discovered in a marshy area northwest of Saskatoon.
