Aeroplan added to Rexall's awards program

Shoppers at Rexall and Rexall Pharma Plus pharmacies will soon be able to earn Aeroplan rewards on their purchases in certain parts of Canada, according to the frequent-flyer marketing program.

As of Monday, Aeroplan members will be able to collect miles at select storesacross the country. The first stores include ones in:

• Surrey, B.C.
• Edmonton.
• Altona, Man.
• Winnipeg.
• Regina.
• Longlac, Ont.
• Inuvik, N.W.T.

Other participating stores will be announced in the fall.

The addition of Rexall toAeroplan's partners means shoppers will be able to earn reward miles in pharmacies in almost every province, said Vince Timpano, president of Aeroplan, in a release.
