The project is meant to criticize consumers for making celebrities out of individuals like the Kardashians, Plastic Jesus told The Hollywood Reporter.

He created another project previously along a similar vein, titled Stop making stupid people famous. People often misunderstand that piece to be criticizing the Kardashians, he tweeted. "But that piece is meant to criticize us as consumers."

The no-parking signs will be coming down Friday morning,Plastic Jesus tweeted.

The artist's other work includes an Oscar Award statue bent over and appearing to snort cocaine atop a platform marked "Hollywood's best party."
