The rom-com'sstar and creator posted a cheekyvideo toInstagramWednesday, in a possible hint to fans distraught over reports thatFox has dropped the show.

"Hey guys, I'm in Montana, is anything happening in LA?" reads the post that shows the35-year-old comedic actress and producer winking at the camera.

She also includedthe hashtag "themindyproject," suggesting to her cult following that herprogram may not be finished after all.

Fans in 'dire' need

Fans of The Mindy Projectare taking to social media in droves to express their disappointment overthe cancellation.

Many seem desperate to how things were going to turn out forKaling'scharacter,Dr.MindyLahiri, who was pregnant at the conclusion of the show's third season.

Others likenedthe development to the death of Dr.Derek (McDreamy) Shepherd on Grey's Anatomy last month.

Fans of that show responded to the surprise plot twist with apetition to have the character brought back to life.

American online videocompany Hulu is reportedly in talks to carry multiple new seasons of the show. But Canadian fans would still be out of luck.

Hulu is not yet available north of the border.
