Tintin movie to make North American debut in Quebec

The North American adventures of Tintin will begin in La Belle Province on Dec. 9.

The North American adventures of Tintin will begin in La Belle Province.

Paramount Pictures says Steven Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn will make its North American debut in Quebec on Dec. 9.

It heads to the rest of Canada and the United States on Dec. 21.

The motion-capture animated feature made its world premiere in Belgium on Oct. 22 and has already made its way through Europe. It heads to South America and Asia on Thursday.

The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn stars Jamie Bell as Tintin, the young reporter from the bestselling series of comic books by Herg.

Daniel Craig plays the nefarious Red Rackham.
