Scamalert: Don't fall for it

So you didn't get a ticket to Katy Perry/the Super Bowl/Monster Trucks. Before you just blindly pay big bucks for tickets online, be aware: A ticket scammer can pull in $10,000 a day from a single fake online ad. Here's some good news: if you were shut out of Tragically Hip tickets, you could always win the lottery.

But will he eat your data or just your battery?

Pokemon-obsessed (when the app works)? We are not judging you. I mean, look at that little Eevee, with his little ears. Good news: He won't munch your data as much as you think. Meanwhile,don't do this.

When dry plants attack

So, we're a little alarmed right now. We did not know that this is a thing that can happen. This buildingcaught on fire becausethe dry planter on the deck started to smoulder and then burst into flames. Go water your garden, now. (We'll wait.)

Flight trouble

Not the greatest week for airline news. First, two Air Transat pilots were arrested forallegedly drinking before their transatlantic flight. Then an Air Canada passenger spoke out when, after she got pricked by a needle and was bleeding,she felt the cabin crew gave her the brush-off.

Those freezies might be hot

Leave the gun, take the cannoli. Organized crime is targeting cargo, anda $60,000 freezie heist was the latest in a series of thefts of meat, fruit and, yes, even your favourite frozen treats. This would be one weird mobster movie, though.
