RIM exec exits "unfair" BBC chat

A visibly upset Mike Lazaridis, co-inventor of the BlackBerry, didn't like a reporter's questions during a recent interview so he cut the BBC video interview short.

A visibly upset Mike Lazaridis, co-inventor of the BlackBerry, didn't like a reporter's questions during a recent interview so he cut the BBC video interview short.

The interview was part of RIM's promotion of its new PlayBook tablet, which hits Canadian stores on April 19.

In it, Lazardis protested several times that it was "not fair" for a reporter to ask questions about the well-publicized problems that Research In Motionhas faced with governments in India and the Middle East.

He then declared the interview was over, said the matter was a national security issue and ordered the camera shut off.
