1 person dead after Coquitlam house fire

One person, who has not yet been identified, has died after a house fire in Coquitlam.

According to a statement from Coquitlam RCMP, police were dispatched to a trailer fire atCayer Street inCoquitlamjust before 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

When the Coquitlam Fire Department arrived, they found one of the units fully engulfed in flames. Police say aperson was found dead inside the unit after the fire was extinguished.

RCMP say there is nothing to suggest foul play or suspicious activity played a part in the fire.
