Marine rescuers' boat surrounded just off Vancouver shore

Volunteers with Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescuein West Vancouver, B.C., had a wild encounterduring a training mission in Howe Sound on Thursday.

Some 200 dolphins surrounded the unit's boat and began jumping through its wake. The SARmembers say they are used to seeing the odd whale or dolphin while out at sea, but never a pod this large.
