The winning numbers3, 4, 5,7,31,33, 40 and bonus number49 were on just the one ticket.

Thejackpot ties the largest lottery prize ever won in B.C.and is just a few millionbelow the largest single lottery winin Canada:a $54-million Lotto 6/49 prize won in Alberta in2005.

The most recent Lotto Max jackpot in B.C. was a $25-million prize wonin Victoria in November.

MaxMillions and Extra wins in B.C.

Two MaxMillionsprizes drawnon Friday and a winningExtra draw were also associated with B.C. tickets, the BCLC said.

A ticket bought in Surrey won $1 million, and a ticket sold inPort Alberni splits a $1-million prize with two other tickets, making its prize worth$333,333.40.

A ticket sold in theMalahatandJuan de Fuca region of Vancouver Island won the Extra draw, and the ticket holder can claim that $500,000 prize, the BCLC said.
