Three other teens, who can't be named because they are under the age of 17, have also been charged in the case. Two have since been released on bail, but the third was denied bail last month.

Gordic was walking with friends around Whistler village when he became separated in the early hours of May 17, after going into a 7-11 to buy chips.

As he left the convenience store, police say he was swarmed by up to 10 teenagers, and stabbed multiple times.
