A CBC News investigationinto reports from small businesses about hidden charges and misleading sales practices by contractors who supply credit and debit card machines has also found complaints in B.C.

"I feel completely like I've been lied to and not just once but over and over and over again," said Mandy Drope, of Caseys Country Gardens, in Sechelt, B.C.

Drope, the retail outlets bookkeeper, says a salesman lured her with promises of low rates for machines to process credit and debit cards, but when the point of sale terminals showed up they didn't work.

And as Natalie Clancy reports,Drope would also learn that the deal she signed wasmore expensivethan she thought.
