2 teens killed in head-on crash in northern B.C., police say
3rd person suffered life-threatening injuries in collision on Highway 97 south near Chetwynd: RCMP
MountiesinnorthernBritish Columbia are seeking informationabout ahead-oncrash near Chetwynd thatkilledtwoteenagers and seriously injured another man.
A statement fromRCMPinChetwynd, about 210 kilometres northeast of Prince George, says officers responded to thecrashalong Highway 97 just after midnightonSunday.
Police say a black 2001 Dodge 2500 pickup truck and a grey 2011 Ford F-350 crashed at the top of the Wabi Hill area.
They say the 19-year-old male driver of the Dodge as well as a passenger, a 15-year-old boy, werekilledinthecrash.
B.C. Emergency Health Servicessaid it was notified of the crash at about 12:15 am PT anddispatched threeambulances to the scene.
The Ford driver, a 21-year-old man, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
RCMP are asking anyone withinformationabout thecrash, including people with dashcamfootage from the area, to contact the Chetwynd detachment at 250-788-9221.
