CBC's Musical Nooners resumethis Monday with amix of rock and roll, countryand folk on the CBC Vancouver Plaza.

Canadian artistsKendelCarson and DustinBentallwill take the stage from noon to 1 p.m. forthis free live concert.

Kendel Carson

A classically trained musician, Carson began playing the violin when she was just three years old. The Victoria-raised fiddler and singer plays with the Paperboys butis best known for her workas a solo artist.

Her sound showcasesa seamless blend ofroots and country, interwoven with sultry, smooth vocals.

Dustin Bentall

The son of Canadianpop/rock singer-songwriterBarney Bentall, you could say music runs in Dustin Bentall's blood.

The Vancouver-born troubadourhas been a notable presence in the alternative folk music scene ever since the release of his debut album,Streets With No Lights, released in 2005.
