Man charged in high-speed crash that killed Vancouver senior

Ken Chung, a 35-year-old Richmond man, has been charged with dangerous driving causing death in connection with the crash.

A man has been charged in connection with a high-speed car crash that killed a Vancouver senior just over a year ago.

Ken Chung, a 35-year-old Richmond man, has been charged with dangerous driving causing death in connection with the crash.

Vancouver police say their investigation found evidence that Chung's vehicle may have been travelling as fast as 143 km/h at the time of the crash.

The crash happened on Nov. 15, 2015in Vancouver's Oakridge neighbourhood.

A 68-year-old man driving a red Suzuki was struck by a grey Audi while making a left turn. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries and did not survive.
