Social media responds to deleted emails scandal with internet memes
Search the #bcpoli hashtag on Twitter and the Internet will inform you that it's Christy Clark's 50th birthday on Oct. 29.
The website, Today's B.C.Liberals, wants you to wish the B.C. premier happy birthday and there's even a placewhere you can send her a personalized message.

He was, of course, referring to the political scandal from last week where the B.C.Information and Privacy Commissioner released a scathing reportthat accused her staff and office of "triple deleting" emails in order to skirt freedom of information laws.
- B.C. minister admits to 'triple deleting' his emails
- Email scandal uncovered a culture of 'delete, delete, delete'
- Christy Clark says she was unaware of triple deleting of government emails
Clark says that until the report was releasedshe had no idea whattriple deletingof emails was andthat she has now ordered all government staff and ministers to retain their sent emails.

Clark's response
Clark has not responded to the memes or Horgan's tweeton her social media accounts. Instead, she responded to Today's B.C. Liberals, saying that her 50th was, in fact, her "second" 49th birthday.
Had no idea my second consecutive 49th birthday would get noticed. Thanks for all the good wishes! https://t.co/fp5xQDbrIs
