Practice earthquake safety with CBC British Columbia

Join CBC B.C. and practice your "Drop, Cover and Hold On" for the Great British Columbia Shake Out.

Earthquake Safety | October 17

Fact: B.C. is the most seismically active area of Canada, and experiences thousands of minor earthquakes per year.

For this reason and more, it's so important we all know how to be safe if the earth shakes.

Join us and practice your "Drop, Cover and Hold On" for the Great British Columbia Shake Out! At 10:17 a.m. on Oct. 17, tune in to CBC Radio One to hear an earthquake drill and practice how to be safe if the earth shakes no matter where you are.

What do I do when I hear the drill?

Drop, Cover, and Hold On!
