CP Rail train derails in Revelstoke, B.C.

Two train cars have derailed in Revelstoke, B.C.on Thursday afternoon.

Judy Goodman, who works across from the rail line where it happened, said the cars derailed around 2 p.m. PT.

"So there is one car that is turned overand it looks to me to be a wheat car, and the car behind it is just a little bit tipped
and all the other cars are fine," she told CBC.

CP Rail confirmed that both derailed cars were carrying grain and it is investigating the cause of the derailment. There have been no reports of injuries.

The RCMP are also on the scene.
