CBC Vancouver is a proud sponsor of The 44th Vancouver Chinatown Spring Festivaland Chinese New Year Parade.



Chinese New Year Parade

On January 29th, meet your favourite CBC Vancouver personalities, including Andrew Chang,Gloria Macarenko, Belle Puri, Kamil Karamali, and Johanna Wagstaffe, as well as Tony, Gary, and Will Stroet from CBC Kidsat this year's Chinese New Year parade.

Celebrating the Year of the Rooster, this signature multicultural event brings together over 3,000 participants and features lion dances, cultural dance troupes, marching bands, and martial arts performances.

Sunday, January 29th -starting at 11:00am

The 1.3-km long route starts at the Millennium Gate.



Cultural Fair

Held at the Sun Yat-Sen Plaza (50 East Pender Street), this cultural fair will feature multicultural performances, a martial arts demonstration, and a special lion dance grand finale.

Saturday, January 28th -1:00pm to 4:00pm
Sunday, January 29th -2:00pm to 4:00pm



Admission

All events of the Vancouver Chinatown Spring Festival are open to the public. The Chinese New Year Parade and the Cultural Fair have free admission.
