Fraser Valley electoral areas A through H are the 22nd largest election area in the Lower Mainland with a combined population of about 10,000 in the last census.

Fraser Valley Electoral Areas A to G (CBC)

Fraser Valley electoral Areas A through H are the 22nd largest election area in the Lower Mainland with a combined population of about 10,000 in the last census.

The areas are:

  • Electoral Area A: Boston Bar, North Bend, Canyon Alpine
  • Electoral Area B: Spuzzum, Yale, Dogwood Valley, Ruby Creek, Sunshine Valley, Laidlaw, Othello
  • Electoral Area C: Lake Errock, Hemlock Valley, Harrison Mills, Morris Valley, Harrison Lake Watershed
  • Electoral Area D: Popkum, Bridal Falls
  • Electoral Area E: Chilliwack River Valley, Post Creek
  • Electoral Area F: McConnell Creek, Hatzic Prairie, Durieu
  • Electoral Area G: Hatzic Island, Nicomen Island, Dewdney, Deroche, portions of Sumas Mountain.
  • Electoral Area H: Cultus Lake, Columbia Valley, Cultus Lake South, Lindell Beach

Positions open for election

  • 1 director for each area, A through H
  • School trustees
    The Fraser Valley Regional District conducts portions of the elections for School Trusteeson behalf ofSchool District No. 75 (Mission), School District No. 78 (Fraser-Cascade) and School District No. 33 (Chilliwack) within the geographic boundaries of theElectoral Areas. of the FVRD.

Voting locations

Fraser Valley electoral Areas A through H vote on Nov. 15, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Voting places will be announced in late October, 2014.

Advance voting

Advance voting will be available Nov. 5, 8:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m.
