A fire in White Rock Tuesday morning has hit Gelateria Italia on Marine Drive, affected a number of other businesses and knocked out power to nearby homes.
More than 1000 nearby customers out of power due to fire
A fire in White Rock Tuesday morning has hit the popular Gelateria Italia, affected a number of other West Beach businesses, and forced the evacuation of nearby condos.
Seven fire trucks responded to the blaze on Marine Drive south of Oxford Street, whereflames reached high above the gelato shop at about 8 a.m. PT.
BC Hydro said power is out to more than 1000 nearby customers because of the fire.
