Granville Street stabbing sends 1 man to hospital

One man has been sent to hospital with a collapsed lung, after being stabbed outsidea downtown Vancouver nightclub early Saturday morning.

The attack happened on the street in front ofClub 816 Bassmenton Granville Street near RobsonStreet,just before 4:30 a.m. PT.

At least three, andpossibly four, peoplewere taken into custody on scene after the victim was transported to hospital according to officers on the scene.

Vancouver Police said the people involved in the attack were patrons of the club, and that theyare currently investigating the stabbing as a robbery/assault.
