Eligible voters in Canada received an unexpected incentive to vote Friday, when multi-talented, Vancouver-born, electronic music star Grimes offered the chance to win tickets to her forthcoming sold-out shows.

She tweeted to "Canadians", saying that those who tag her on Instagram with a picture of them at their voting station, will be put in a draw.

She promised three people per city will win a pair of tickets to a sold out show.

Grimes, who is the daughter of local anti-casino activist, Sandy Garossino, will be back in Vancouver Oct. 26 to play a gig at The Commodore.
