'Iconic' Dal Richards remembered by fans on social media
Family says 97-year-old passed away at 11:41 p.m. PT on New Year's Eve
People around B.C. are remembering Vancouver's "King of Swing" on-line with social media posts praising Dal Richards' long career in music.

Richards played 79 consecutive New Year's Eve gigs, and nearly as many shows at the Pacific National Exhibition during an incredible career that spanned from 1936 to 2014.
